Web Wednesday, Oct 26th – Honey
The typical Web Wednesday tip is an app, extension, or website created to help you accomplish something in your classroom. This week’s tip strays a bit from your classroom, but I don’t think you’ll mind. The featured extension is designed to do one simple thing: save you money!
Honey is rising star in the Chrome Web Store. You go to your favorite online retailer and add items into your cart. Honey searches the web for coupons codes. Once you’re ready to check out, click the Honey icon to automatically try every code it found to determine which one will give you the best deal. On Amazon, Honey has an added feature. It will search the site to see if there’s a better price if you purchase the item from a different seller.
I’ve been using Honey for a few months now and I can honestly say it’s saved me around $30 – $40 dollars.
In TDLR terms, free extension saves you money. Check out Honey. Highly recommend this tool!
