Digital flash cards are anything but a novel idea. Sites, apps, and extensions designed to help anyone review or remember information have been around for quite some time now. This week’s Web Wednesday takes a look at a Chrome extension that takes a old concept and adds a bit of a twist to it.
Flash Tabs lets users create an unlimited number of “decks” containing flash cards on any topic of their choosing. Students create the questions and enter the corresponding answers. The unique feature that make this extension stand out is that a flash card is displayed every time a student opens a new tab.Think about how often you open a new tab in Chrome every day? This is a fantastic way to add review information into their every day life.
