Weekly Technology Tip

When you are reading articles on the web, they are often laced with advertisements.  These ads can be distracting and make it difficult to read the content on the page.  Clearly, a free Chrome extension, solves this problem by removing all the unnecessary junk form a page leaving you with a clean, easy to read version of the article.   Everything happens right inside the Chrome browser with a single click which makes this extension really easy to use for students.

For you Firefox users, this functionality is built right into the most recent version of the browser. Still using Internet Explorer, you’re out of luck.  Rumor has it that the new Microsoft browser in Windows 10 will also contain this feature so help is on the way.  In the mean time, consider switching browsers and check out Clearly today.
